This two-mana Elf Druid is the lynchpin of one of Magics oldest strategies, Elfball
I can look at a card like By Force and easily hold its value in tension with cards from the past that Ive played like Vandalblast, Shatterstorm, Shattering Pulse, Shattering Spree, and Release the Gremlins
When looking at what to board out, were simply doing what I mentioned above: 1 card that depends on your liking The ninth card is one that Im very unsure about
But even without the fig-leaf of there being some unique mechanical twist to this archetype, its still a very fun and interesting deck to actually play
Id imagine that this is too slow for aggro decks, and midrange/control decks would rather run finishers that are better top decks
Throwing away a couple of tokens to strip your opponents of their hands puts you in a great spot in terms of card advantage, doubly so with discard payoffs like Tergrid, God of Fright and Waste Not
