Cask No. 121.116 Finland Abundant sweetness coupled prickly fruitThe pleasant, summery nose conveyed hay bales and barley fields, apple strudel and lemon puffs. The palate held vanilla slice and heather honey on porridge, followed by various fruit flavours sherbet lemons, raspberry coulis, mango, pear and grape; finishing with salted wood, white pepper and cardamom seeds. The reduced nose combined custard tarts, pears in syrup and dried mango with after dinner mints, nettle patches and sea breezes over the machair.
