This is seems like a very reasonable sideboard bullet
There are a lot of other cards in this deck that feel deceptively suitable to keep
Specifically, Taeko, the Patient Avalanche synergizes with the Ninjutsu mechanic, which allows you to bounce creatures back to your hand
Jokes aside, I do think that Magic and Dungeons & Dragons have a lot in common
Once it resolves, you add one red mana for each card in an opponents hand, that mana sticks around through phases until the end of the turn, and then Inspiring Refrain resuspends itself with another three time counters, letting you cast it again later
