Always dedicated to its mission of providing quality career education, ASC Technical Institute recently celebrated a big milestone with last month’s Grand Reopening, complete with a press conference and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The special event marked the launch of the new, completely refurbished campus location, which was designed from the ground up to help students reach their career goals.
Located in a former FedEx site, right next to the El Paso International Airport and across the street from the main gate of Fort Bliss, the ASC Technical Institute’s upgraded campus features 6,200 square feet of classrooms, labs, training centers, and office space. These modern facilities will support ASC’s current Heavy Equipment Operator and Truck Driving CDL programs.
“We searched all over the United States to find a location to bring these highly specialized and unique training programs to,” said Luis Armendariz, president of ASC Technical Institute, LLC. “And as a native El Pasoan, I am proud to say that El Paso was chosen as the winning city. ASC will bring people from all over the United States to visit and contribute substantially to the local economy with over $240,000 in room, board, and municipal taxes being paid annually.”
